Greenwood Proudly Sponsors Young Voices, RI

Young Voices is a local organization that gives inner city youth the tools to have a voice and master the skills needed to eventually assume roles of leadership. Through the program’s advance leadership training and real-world experience, students gain skills in public speaking, networking, policy analysis, critical thinking, and communicating with high-level leaders.

Thanks to our long-standing partnership with Young Voices, Greenwood had the privilege of hosting a fantastic college-bound intern this summer. The internship provided a “back-stage pass” to credit union operations, including shadowing each department and learning about each function. Our intern will carry this experience along with a slew of other great skills and accomplishments to Harvard University this fall.

Our partnership with Young Voices has not only provided us a great intern this summer but also another quality individual who recently started as a full-time Greenwood employee.
